What is the Creative Cloud using Behance?
Starting off in the business of Technical Writing and Graphic Design can be a bit overwhelming. At least it seems that way for me. There is so much good talent out there; will my work be lost in the sea of goodness? Creative Cloud helps.
Funny to think this way because I have quickly found out, although there are a lot of talented individuals out there doing great writing and design… there are more people looking for a talented person to do their writing or design. There seems to be no shortage of work in this world of marketing, branding and image.
So, how do I get my name out there… or art rather. Well, a common tool of the trade is the full gambit of Adobe tools that almost everyone uses as a go to. And part of the deal with Adobe is the Creative Cloud. It’s essential for the operation of the tools, so, why not use it to full advantage. After all you are paying for it.
As part of the Adobe CC you are connected to the community. In this case the tool of this trade is called Behance. Behance is a collection of portfolios. You will find everything here from graphic design to photography to architecture to technology and everything in between. One could spend hours pouring over countless unique and amazing works.
Through Behance you can connect and even collaborate with other artists and designers. Tools are given to facilitate group projects and artistic collaboration. As well it presents opportunity to showcase your work publicly… or not.
If you are looking for work you have options here too. There are tools for individuals or companies to post job opportunities and such. And inversely, tools for designer to post that they are interested in work.
There are an abundance of good uses for the Behance platform. Marketing, job searches, and community are foremost with Behance. You are most likely a part of it already, may as well take advantage.
Watch my DEMO of Behance in action and let me know what you think of this tool. Or add to the list of feature in the case I missed something important.
